Landscape in Normandy
When traveling to Normandy, France, my impression was of a sky with the most beautiful and ever-changing light that I had ever seen.
The intense colors and light provided views that allowed my minimal impressionistic approach to express my obsessive fascination with sky and clouds.
Using oil pastels and pigment sticks, I painted this landscape scene on a 22-inch-high x 30-inch-wide acid-free age-resistant 140 lb. Arches oil paper.
The work is ready for framing and is signed and dated by me on the back of the painting (2021).
